By purchasing products through the Online Store at Great Lakes Nutrition, glnutrition.com, or by any other means related to the property of Great Lakes Nutrition, you agree to the terms and conditions and procedures set forth on this page. Please do not purchase products from this website if you do not agree to these terms and conditions and procedures.
Order Acceptance - We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, decline, or cancel your order for any reason. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. If we do not accept your order a full refund will be given.
Forms Of Payment - We accept payment for goods by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, & Discover) as well as PayPal. By placing an order from our website you are agreeing that you are the authorized user of any credit card or Paypal account that you use to pay us. Charges for your purchases will appear on your statements as Great Lakes Nutrition.
USPS Delivery Confirmation - Title to all products transfers to the customer upon shipment. Customer agrees that Delivery Confirmation, as provided by the USPS (United States Postal Service), shall serve as bonafide proof of delivery of package(s) to the customers shipping address. Customer agrees that they are solely responsible for the security of their mail receiving area and shall hold harmless, Great Lakes Nutrition, or duly authorized affiliate thereof, for any missing parcels or losses once a package is "confirmed" by the USPS, as having been delivered to the customers shipping address. No refunds will be honored under these circumstances.
Shipping Policy - All accepted orders will be shipped out the same business day if ordered by 3 P.M. EST. Any accepted orders placed after 3 P.M. will be shipped out the following business day. When your order is shipped you will receive an email notification with your USPS delivery confirmation number that can be used on the USPS.com website to track your delivery. The email will also contain an estimated delivery date. This date is just an estimate only and there is no guarantee that your order will arrive on or before this date. You should also take things like weekends and holidays into consideration regarding USPS delivery time.
Shipping Address Typographical Errors - The address that you type in the order form is also your shipping label. This is the only way we know your exact address so we can send you your order. Please make sure that you type in your information correctly. Any small typographical error can result in your order delivery either being delayed or lost in the mail. By placing an order on our site you are agreeing that you and only you are responsible for any typographical errors and Great Lakes Nutrition will not be held liable for any shipments that do not make it to you due to your own typing errors. Please double check all of your information when ordering.
Cancellation Policy - Please Do Attempt To Cancel An Order After It Has Been Shipped.
Before you submit your order, please make sure you really want it. We cannot and we will not cancel an order once it leaves our warehouse. All orders ship the same business day so if you do not cancel an order almost immediately after ordering it is pretty much to late. If an order has already been shipped you may return it to us, at your cost, for a refund of the purchase price, minus shipping costs. All items that are returned to us on this basis must be in resellable condition.
Return Policy - At Great Lakes Nutrition, we will do whatever we can to ensure our satisfaction guarantee policy is enforced. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order you may return it, within 60 days, for a refund minus shipping costs. All items must be returned to us in their original bottles, labels and packaging. Do not attempt to return products in sandwich bags, envelopes, jewelry boxes, etc... We cannot accept returns on orders over 60 days old. If we feel that you ordered simply to take advantage of our very generous gurantee and return policy you may be banned from ever ordering from us in the future. Our return policy relies on the honesty of our customers, please do not attempt to abuse it.
Fraudulant and Unjustified Chargebacks - If you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company or PayPal (on purpose or by mistake) for an order that you placed and received without attempting to resolve the issue with us in accordance with our terms of sale, you will be assessed a $50 fee. This fee covers the time and expense that we have to invest in investigating and proving that you did make the purchase, received the item, and failed to resolve the problem with our company first. Unpaid chargeback fees will be referred to a collections agency.
We are human and make mistakes just like everyone else. If a problem arises, contact us first and we will do everything we possibly can to fix it for you and work something out. However, if you would rather use a credit card chargeback, PayPal dispute, or any other hostile remedy as your first choice for problem resolution, we will respond appropriately.
ChargebackProtection.org - We are a member of ChargebackProtection.org, a service that allows thousands of merchants to search a database of purchasers who have requested chargebacks in the past. We will inquire of all new customers via the online chargeback database. If in our determination we decide that you have abused the system in the past, your order will be canceled. In the event that a chargeback is placed by you on a purchase form us, we will report the incident for inclusion in the chargeback abuser database. The information reported will include name, email address, order date, order amount, item(s) ordered, IP address, full address, and telephone number. Chargeback abusers wishing to be removed from the database shall make the payment for the amount of the chargeback + $50 for processing fees by Money Order.
Chargebacks revealed to be motivated by fraud (claiming you didn't order the product but yet you keep it and use it anyway, claiming you didn't receive the goods but clearly you did, etc...) will be immediately referred to your local law enforcement for investigation and prosecution. Cyber shoplifting is a crime and punishable by law.
In the event that we find that you submitted a fraudulant or unjustified chargeback we will use a third party collection service to get our money back plus the additional $50 in processing fees. Collection Agencies have the ability to report unpaid debts to the major credit reporting agencies.
